Data is only useful if it's visible. Logistified 2.1 introduces a new Data Warehouse layer that powers instant insights, alongside critical purchasing features requested by our high-volume merchants.
The 360° KPI Dashboard
Ops managers often spend their mornings digging through reports to find fires to put out. We wanted to change that. The new KPI Dashboard is your morning coffee companion—a single screen that tells you the health of your entire inventory.
The dashboard includes widgets for:
- Imminent Stockouts: A prioritized list of items that will hit zero stock in the next 7, 14, or 30 days based on current velocity.
- Overstock Alerts: Identify products with >180 days of supply, helping you free up cash flow by running promotions or liquidation events.
- Inventory Valuation: A live look at your total inventory value (Cost vs. Retail) broken down by location.
- Turnover Rate: Track your efficiency with an annualized turnover rate metric, calculated daily.
Smarter Purchasing Logic
Generating a purchase order is easy. Generating a purchase order that your supplier actually accepts is harder. We've added two critical constraints to our PO system: MOQ and Pack Sizes.
Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)
Suppliers often refuse orders below a certain unit count. You can now define MOQs at the product or variant level.
Example: If your forecast suggests ordering 45 units, but the Supplier MOQ is 100, Logistified will alert you and suggest bumping the order to 100 (or 0 if you decide to skip).
Pack Size Intelligence
Most suppliers sell in cases or master cartons, not individual units. Ordering "13 units" of a product that comes in a case of 12 is a logistical headache.
With Pack Size logic, Logistified automatically rounds your forecasted needs up to the nearest pack multiple. If you need 13 units and the pack size is 12, the system will recommend ordering 24 (2 packs), ensuring your POs are supplier-ready instantly.
Data Warehouse Sync
Under the hood, we've implemented a new synchronization engine that mirrors your Shopify data into our optimized Data Warehouse. This allows us to run complex aggregate queries (like "Total Inventory Value across 50,000 SKUs") in milliseconds, queries that would time out using the standard Shopify API.
