Choose Logistified if

  • You're migrating off Stocky before the 31 August 2026 shutdown
  • You want back the reorder points and stock transfers Stocky removed in July 2025
  • You want multi-model demand forecasting, supplier returns (RMAs) and warehouse barcode scanning
  • You want an AI assistant (Claude/ChatGPT) to run POs, receiving and transfers

  • You want everything inside the Shopify admin with no extra app, and don't need forecasting, transfers or supplier returns
What Stocky does well
  • Included with Shopify POS Pro at no extra cost (POS Pro is about $89/mo per location)
  • Native to the Shopify admin, with no separate app to install
  • Handles basic purchase orders, receiving and stocktakes inside Shopify

Frequently asked

When is Stocky shutting down?

Shopify is retiring Stocky on 31 August 2026 and removed it from the Shopify App Store on 2 February 2026, so new merchants can no longer install it. Shopify had already removed stock transfers and min/max reorder points from Stocky in July 2025. Historical Stocky data does not move into Shopify automatically, so export anything you want to keep before the shutdown.

Does Stocky require Shopify POS Pro?

Yes. Stocky is included with Shopify POS Pro, which is about $89/mo per location, so it is only free if you already pay for POS Pro. Merchants who installed Stocky before 4 May 2020 kept it on any plan. Logistified does not require POS Pro and starts at $12/mo.

Can Logistified import my Stocky data?

Yes. Logistified imports your suppliers, supplier-variant links and purchase orders from CSV/XLSX, so you can move off Stocky without starting from scratch. See the step-by-step migration guide at /stocky-alternative.

What does Logistified add over Stocky?

Multi-model demand forecasting, constraint-based purchase optimization, multi-location transfer orders, Return Orders (RMAs) with supplier credits, and AI-agent (MCP) read and write control. Stocky offers none of these, and Shopify removed its transfers and reorder-point forecasting in July 2025.
